Living with Grief®: Cancer and End-of Life Care
Please join us for the afternoon of Wednesday, March 24th for the Hospice Foundation of America’s 17th annual bereavement teleconference, Living with Grief: Cancer and End-of-Life Care. Local co-hosts are the Chippewa Valley CARE Coalition and UW Eau Claire Continuing Education and the event will be held at Sacred Heart Hospital in the Community Auditorium from 12:15 - 4:00 pm.
The program will include discussion about care options related to cancer diagnoses as well as loss and grief reactions for patients, families and professional caregivers. Featured panelists will examine psychosocial aspects of cancer, pain management, and ethical issues related to the disease.
This program will be of interest to a wide range of professionals including healthcare providers, social workers, clergy, case managers, funeral directors, caregivers, and others. Participants can earn continuing education contact hours. This is a wonderful opportunity to interact with Chippewa Valley-area colleagues who share an interest in end-of-life issues.
Registration is required and the program fee is $10.
